On the Road…

Unplanned road trips are one of our favorite hobbies. We love to pack the necessary things to survive a couple of days outside home, pick the car and follow our travel rule number one, get lost and leave the guides aside. No doubt California is the perfect State to make this plan, there are millions of things that surprise you along the way and you always find a place to sleep. On this occasion we headed to Lancaster where we took a detour to the famous route 66 and after traveling miles and miles we find this motel, used to shoot movies, music videos and even photo shoots for Fashion Magazines and brand’s lookbooks. We don’t t hesitate to also make some pics with our little camera to show you the look of the day ;)

Yesterday I spoke to you about slip dresses and today I show you another one, but in its short version and in black. Combined with a Rolling Stones band tee underneath, khaki parka and my favorite studded sneakers. I hope you like the pics!!. Thanks so much for your comments and have a nice one!

Arches National Park

Utah, third day. We left our belongings in our motel located in Moab to become it our home for the adventures in Arches National Park, Canyonlands and Dead Horse Point. It’s certainly the best place to sleep in this area, is just five miles from Arches National Park and is fully prepared for the adventure, hiking, climbing and tours to the different parks in the area. It also has a lot of variety of hotels, restaurants, shops and cool atmosphere, which is greatly appreciated after the loneliness of the road.

This day we discovered Arches and even did a little hiking, five miles way/return, to see up close the most famous natural arch in Utah, the ‘Delicate Arch’. The walk is pretty hard around 2 hours, especially by high temperatures, but with a bottle of water, enthusiasm and desire is easily achieved. In addition every effort has its reward and the arch and the views from there are breathtaking, one of the best places I’ve been on this last trip. We could also see from the famous ‘viewpoints’, other awesome arches as ‘Landscape Arch’ or ‘Sand Dune Arch’ was a shame not to have more time to discover them walking… we have to come back soon to Utah!

We ended the day at Dead Horse Point which provided amazing views of the sunset and from there back to Moab where we arrived exhausted and a bit sunburned (some more than others :P). I was wearing an off the shoulder top, my favorite pair of vintage Levi’s, bandana as a turban (I’ll make a video with this hairstyle) and sneakers. Hope you like it.
